Stay in beautiful Steenbergen
As of 1628 the fortified town of Steenbergen has been part of the West-Brabantse water line. The ancient fortress Henricus in the polder lands of Steenbergen is one of the remnants of days gone by. In the 16th century, between Steenbergen and the Dutch royal house a close relationship developed. That relationship still exists: one of King Willem-Alexander’s official titles is ‘Lord of Steenbergen’.
